Alternating constipation and diarrhea

Abnormal physical findings or history pathognomonic of other disease (red flag)

ESR > 10 mm/hr

WBC > 10,000/ul (red flag)

Hemoglobin (female < 12 g/dL; male < 14 g/dL) (red flag)

History of blood in stool (red flag)
